Hello Mosaic Arts Online Friends! It’s hard for me to believe, but Mosaic Arts Online is turning 10 years old this month! What began as a simple yet crazy idea, finding a way to teach and share mosaic art with people who couldn’t travel to take workshops, has grown into something far beyond what I ever imagined. Back in 2009, I started the Santa Barbara School of Mosaic Art, hosting visiting artists and teaching in-person workshops. But something kept happening. For every student sitting in a class here in Santa Barbara, there were so many more people reaching out from around the world saying, “I wish I could come, but.....” And so in 2016, we launched Mosaic Arts Online, and ten years later, it still amazes me to see how many artists from around the world have learned, experimented, and developed their own creative voices through MAO. And that’s something worth celebrating. So I’d love for you to join us for a very special 10 Year Anniversary Celebration Live on YouTube. This event is FREE, and it would mean so much to have you there with us as we celebrate this milestone. We’ll be joined by seven wonderful artists from Mosaic Arts Online, the talented instructors who have shared their years of experience and passion with our community.
